- The Northern Light® Medical face mask is a 100% hypoallergenic design. The external layer is completely water-repellent. The middle layer is a polypropylene meltblown filter which helps to protect the mask wearer by confining bacteria and/or viruses within the fine poly propylene fibers. The inside layer is soft and gentle for face contact which helps decrease irritation from prolonged mask use.
