Northern Light Technologies or NLT for short is a world leader in cap lamp innovation. All their cap lamps are IP67-rated and constructed to operate in harsh conditions.

All parts of the cap lamps, including the batteries, are replaceable for extended service life and lower cost of ownership. Each lamp has a safety protection circuit to protect the lithium-ion battery and LED technology.

Smart technology capabilities:

• Personnel Tracking: Cap lamps have Wi-Fi or radio frequency identification (RFID) tracking tags for personnel tracking and access control. This means you can pinpoint the location of miners during an emergency.
• Programmable Lights: You can program the cap lamp light to flash in a specific sequence for different safety or operational alerts like man-down or evacuation.
• Emergency Notification: A push button on the headpiece enables bi-directional capabilities. Your staff can use this button for a variety of functions including emergency assistance like man-down requests, acknowledge a signal/warning or trigger a warning/alarm.
• Integration: The tag integrates into the cap lamp to eliminate the chance of loss.
