Every HeatTrak System requires at least one Power Unit. This outdoor-safe unit comes with 6' of cord and contains an inline Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) to safely connect your businesses exterior outlet to your system of connected mats.
For Stair and Walkway Mats Systems, order one Power Unit (HR-P) for every location of mats and for every configuration of mats up to 13-amps. Power Units are included with Entrance, Mobility Ramps and Driveway Mats and do not need to be ordered separately.
- Up to 13 amps can be connected on a single 6 ft Power Unit.
- If mats exceed 13 amps, split them and add a second Power Unit to a separate outlet.
- Order a power unit for each location when ordering Stair Mats for multiple locations.
- The unit has a watertight connector to connect to the first or last Stair Mat.
- Power Unit is rainproof and designed for outdoor use during the winter season.
