Haws® Gate Valve Stem Shield™ - Gate Valve Stem Protection Shield with Cable Lock, for 18" Long Stems

Model 9109S Stem Shield™ is a chemically-resistant, waterproof, soft-cell rubber foam enclosed PVC pipe to protect stem threads up to 18 in L, for stem and yoke gate valves. Highly visible yellow casing is used to easily detect stem coverings to protect workers from accidentally injuring themselves and potential exposure to infection. Protects stem threading from degradation or damage. Light weight, durable material can withstand damage, extreme temperatures, and various other elements. Equipped with stainless steel cable to lock shield in place without inhibiting operation of valve. Dimensions are 18-1/2 in L internal, 19-1/4 in L outer, 2 in ID, 3-1/2 in OD.
