3M™ E-A-Rfit™ Dual-Ear Validation System - Includes Speaker & Stand, Dual-Element Microphones, USB Cable, Power Cable, Roll Model, Trial Quantity of Probed Test Plugs, Software (Available Via Online Download)
The 3M™ E-A-Rfit™ Dual-Ear Validation System helps determine whether workers are receiving adequate protection from their hearing protector by measuring across 7 standard frequencies in under five seconds, providing a detailed report on the noise attenuation performance of earplugs or earmuffs and a pass or fail rating for each individual person based on the employee's personal attenuation rating.
This objective fit-testing system provides a personal attenuation rating (PAR) for each worker. In just seconds, it measures across 7 standard frequencies, quickly reporting whether their hearing protectors (earplugs, banded, or earmuffs) are effectively blocking the individual worker from potentially hazardous workplace noise. Once every employee’s personal attenuation rating is known, health and safety professionals can utilize this data to enhance their hearing conservation program.
- Dual-element, dual-microphone assembly is the key to the system, measuring sound levels inside and outside the hearing protector
- Science-based, quantitative testing gives accurate reports of hearing protection
- Fast, clear, accurate results are obtained in just seconds and can be printed or saved electronically for future reference
- System determines personal attenuation rating (PAR) of individual workers and helps remove measurement, fitting and spectral uncertainty
- Dual ear design saves time by measuring both ears simultaneously in under five seconds
- System tests across seven standard frequencies (125/250/500/1000/2000/4000/8000 Hz)
- Works with a large variety of 3M™ hearing protection products, earplugs, banded hearing protectors and earmuffs
- Simple, easy-to-use intuitive software
- Worker and company reports created
- Free online training and user support
- Requires probed test plugs, pods or cushions
