Some industrial vehicles operate virtually non-stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They use a host of flammable liquids including lubricating oils, diesel fuels, greases, and hydraulic fluids and generate considerable heat from engine blocks, manifolds, turbochargers, electrical components, and brake systems.

When a fire breaks out, the results can be dramatic. Extensive downtime and business interruption can result in an even greater expense as this equipment often takes many months to replace. Needless to say, whether you work in the mining, waste/recycling, forestry, or transportation industries, you can’t take chances with your vehicle fire suppression systems.

Harnesses, retractable lanyards and static lines are effective in minimizing the risk of working at height – but they have to be in good working order to do so. It’s critical to store, inspect, and use your fall protection equipment correctly.

Levitt-Safety can inspect, clean, service and even proof-load an array of fall protection equipment – and now, we can provide our fall protection maintenance, inspection and repair services at your facilities with our Mobile Fall Protection Truck!

We are authorized as service centers for Capital Safety (DBI-Sala & Protecta brands), North, and Honeywell (Miller).

Respiratory equipment – including SCBAs –  require regular servicing at specific intervals to ensure they will operate in the toughest conditions. Levitt-Safety provides both mobile and in-house service for all your repair, maintenance and inspection needs by our factory-trained and certified technicians. We’re authorized to service breathing air equipment from industry leading manufactures like Scott, MSA, and Survivair (Honeywell). Proper preventative maintenance can go a long way to ensuring your equipment continues to perform at its optimum level.

Our technicians are trained to perform inspections, maintenance, and complete calibration on any fixed or portable instruments you may have on site. Portable instruments can also be sent back to any of our ISO9001 certified service centres for calibration, repair or maintenance. Levitt-Safety can also help you develop and deliver training, technical support, calibration and ongoing maintenance and repair schedules, leaving you confident knowing your vital instruments are consistently functioning at or above the manufacturer’s specifications.

Any person who is required to wear a tight fitting face piece during the course of their normal day to day work duties, or any person who is required to wear a tight fitting face piece for emergency response activities should be fit tested to ensure an effective seal. Our respiratory fit test technicians will also address the proper donning and doffing of the respirator, how to perform seal checks, the care, use and maintenance of the respirator, the defining differences between N, R, and P-Series respirators, as well as half and full face piece respirators.
