In 1996, we received our ISO registration and officially became certified to the ISO 9001 standard. The ISO 9001 International Standard is the most commonly used and respected standard that provides a framework for a quality management system. Successfully maintaining our registration at every one of our locations across Canada demonstrates our determination and commitment to continual improvement; it provides you with the certainty that you are dealing with a reliable and professional safety supplier.

A quality management system ensures the consistency and improvement of our working practices, including the products and services we provide. Ongoing auditing, both internally and by our Quality Registrar, helps to ensure our quality management system is working effectively and continually to provide you with an invariable high-level of service and professionalism.

The current ISO 9001:2000 standard focuses on Customer Satisfaction, Continual Improvement and Management Commitment. It took the previous 28 elements of the ISO 9001:1994 standard and put them into five major sections; Quality Management System, Management Responsibility, Resource Management, Product Realization and Measurement Analysis and Improvement. This current standard has taken on a more practical approach that is relevant to day-to-day business objectives; and it is these objectives that have allowed us to provide consistent, unsurpassable service to you in hopes that you always look towards Levitt-Safety as your preferred supply partner.
